Aurora

Aurora Aksnes, born June 15 1995 in Stavanger and is professionally known as Aurora or, sometimes, stylized in the form of AURORA is an Norwegian singer and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well reviewed by various music websites. She has previously recorded two highly-profile cover songs Half the World Away by the band Oasis in a commercial for Christmas by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry's praise for her song Runaway via a blog post gave the artist some additional acknowledgement. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memory is of finding a piano hidden in the attic of her home, then becoming enthralled by the sound it made. The parents of her May-Britt family as well as Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to study music, not for an occupation or pastime but for growth. Her parents advised her to compose. Bjork as well as Leonard Cohen are among her most favored composers. Her mom encouraged her to play her music in front of the public, but not so that she could be famous, but to let others know how important they are and what they can do for the world. The piano was her first instrument at age six and making music when she was 9 years old. The family members didn't know about it until she turned fourteen. Aurora's fame was not the goal of her. She claims that she enjoys composing music. She believes that music can help any person feel better.
