Ky-Mani Marley one of the richest and most famous Reggae Singers was born on February 26, 1976, in Falmouth Jamaica. He sang in Shottas together with another vocalist Wyclef. Ky-Mani joined Shang Records and recorded his 1996 debut album Like Father Like Son. This was followed by several singles, including Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap fit (remix), and Sensimelia. They all helped to establish Ky-Mani's status as a new reggae musician. In 1997, Ky-Mani teamed up along with Praswell (Fugees) for Avenue which was a smash cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was a part of the Midem performance (an international showcase of music), which was first performed in Miami. Marley presented a show at the Cameo Theatre which was live broadcast to other 36 nations. Marley was the focus of bidding battles. He joined Gee Street/V2 Record.
